No practical filters for searching, huge waiting times while trying to scroll/search, frequent error messages and pages that can't be loaded. I am not familiar with Home Depot's product but from the sound of it not the best quality. We use and install RTA cabinets daily but are selective in our suppliers, look for a good warranty and good construction, color matched interior and sides. Can be a great product at a great price. 3/4″ plywood is the best available construction in frameless (assuming the back is also 3/4″). However, there will probably be framed lines that are more durable and also possibly less besides Fabuwood.

Two separate employees daily have to review hundreds of the tickets that get affixed to cabinet parts to correct the errors. 100% inspection never results in 100% results. Bottom line many cabinet parts are actually run to the wrong specs, resulting in excess time and labor used making the wrong parts. I could cite many more examples of flawed processes. Bottom line is Decora has terrible process control at almost every machine and process in the plant.

They said they would send out new cabinets for the ones that were not built correctly. Three weeks later the so called replacement order came. They only sent me two replacement cabinets, and then a bunch of hardware, cupboard doors, a replacement drawer , and some new shelves.
Custom cabinets are cabinets that are made and finished locally by a cabinet maker to fit one's particular space and style. What you have order are stock cabinets or possibly what is called semi-custom but these come from a factory somewhere. I have never seen cabinets delivered that were not in a box with appropriate packing material to protect them. It was certainly wise to refuse the whole order. Hopefully you can get all of your money back and use someone else for your cabinetry. Both ProCraft and J&K are durable and well made.

Can you comment on Hannsem now called Massachusetts Design? They have a framed and frameless option and happen to be close to me so I thought it might be nice to use a local manufacturer for my project. I would appreciate your opinion on this brand.
I'm just another customer they don't care about. Never a apology from them for sending damaged cabinets. Having to stay in Florida much after I had planned just to accommodate their schedule and policies. I worked at Decora, what a joke their manufacturing is. They have outdated equipment not designed or capable to push through the volume of daily cabinets their schedule demands.

I ordered all new semi-custom cabinetry about a year ago for my kitchen, but I ordered the top cabinets only. I had no problems and was satisfied with the quality. Recently, I finally ordered all my bottom cabinets and they shipped over a week later than promised. I dont know if they were shipped damaged or it happened during shipping . The cabinets were coming apart by the time I received them. I notified the company and they manufactured and sent replacements.
While the design time of “real” kitchen designers is incorporated into the cost of the cabinets that they sell. I recently had the high end Decora brand cabinets installed in my home. As a builder that see many products and that builds high end luxury homes I'm very happy with the modern flat panel solid wood floors and paint finishes. I have had them for a year how amd is holding up very good and never had an issue. The drawers all work great and doors too. I continue to recommend To my clients and all have been happy.
I advanced my complaint to Customer Care only to be given excuse after excuse and to have representatives continue to cover and make excuses for the salesman. This is how important customer service is to Home Depot! I was never advised of ANY cancellation fee, nor was I ever given any paperwork for the order. Shortly after planning the order and paying, I began worrying that I had made a mistake. I decided to make an appointment with another home store to get more information. After doing a computer design of my kitchen, I was quoted just over 8k for replacing with NEW cabinets.
I still haven't ever gotten a call back from that original call. So I had to go back and search the internet for a different customer support number. When I called this number, I finally got an answer after about an hour wait from a call center in India who did not speak English well. The cabinets aren't bad just not the high quality advertised. Thirty percent of all supplied cabinets were damaged. The level of packaging and protection is abysmal. The replacements took weeks and were damaged.

I ordered a hall tree from Home Decorators Collection. One of the pieces was mis-drilled, so I needed to contact customer support to request a replacement. No customer support number was provided with the furniture itself, so I had to go to the website and look up the number. The first time I called (the number on Home Depot's web site for HDC), I was directed to an answering machine that said they would call back within 2 hours. When I wasn't called back the next day, I called the same number back, and it had been disconnected.
Neither of these will give you a high-end custom line or an inexpensive US / Import line which you should also carry. There are also between six and ten brands available to choose from, each with different styles and price points. Not sure but we finally got everything and we love it. Not sure I could trust ordering from Them again. Apparently, they claim, it's a problem with their shipping company. Finally, after about 1/2 hour and giving them every number on the box, they were able to find the order and ordered the part that I needed replaced.
